got mine today. get it home. open it up. and.
no earphones! the box is only held together with a sticker so i'm thinking they got jacked somewhere along the line. or maybe they where just missed on the assembly line. anyway. tech support said i should have a new pair at my door by tuesday.
anyone else have issues?

Just ordered 3x molex to twin sata power leads.

Does anyone know about replacing the dvd caddy with a hard drive rack? Its deep enough because there is a rack underneath - i figure 4 more drives on their side would go in.

For feature films? I call BS! Maybe for independent "features" and even that is debatable.
Just one example but Transformers 2 was cut on FCP, and that's a 250mil movie, hardly an independent one :)

friend is big tech guy. bought wife a MBP on 06/10. she got him a MBP 15"I7 for xmas on 12/10. he bought an ipad on 10/10. today he got a new imac for kitchen. and there are 3 more units floating around house. 1 in home recording studio. 1 in home theater room.

Ad plays silently but when moused over the audio blasts out at a loud level, well the volume did happen to be set at 11... highly obtrusive.

I suggest you to save your SHSH blobs using TinyUmbrella from now on. Even if you don't jailbreak. But with your SHSH blobs you have the possibility to downgrade. I restored to 4.2.1 myself because of various issues with 4.3+
And it's a pity that few people know about this and a huge fail from apple for not letting iPhone users downgrade their firmware.

I don't want THEM having the information. If I sever my relationship with a business (for example, by canceling a subscription) I don't WANT them to pester me to re-sign. I don't want phone calls, mailings, and email. If their computer burps and decides I haven't paid them properly, I don't WANT them pestering me or having debt collectors pester me.

Interesting that you had problems with your cds. Usually I never encountered such a thing. I take care of them but not spend too much time worrying about it. Lots of my work are backed up on cd's and dvds as early as the 90's.
same here, i just finished moving everything off CD-R, some as old as '97 to DVD-R, DVD-R DL. i figure it's a few years before i start moving everything off the DVD's and onto my new GREEN-RAY burner, cause those 100TB GR-R discs will be bleading edge yo.
