i am a pharmacist recently licensed in florida and i found 2003 approved labor but my lawyer is telling me that in order to substitute it for me i must be licensed in florida at the time of filling date of this approved labor which is in 2003.

How will USCIS process the I-485 petitions?. According to the applicant's labor priority date or I-485 petition receipt date?. pray tell....:confused:

Hi:
Assuming you qualify for a green card under EB-2, your new employer should do a PERM/ apply for an I-140 , and at that time seek the priority date of the already approved EB-3 I-140.
During all these process, make sure that you are on your H-1B.

Even I am in similar situation. My EB3 ROW has PD of March 2006 (RD July 2007). I am not sure when my EB3 case will get approved. I have masters degree and 6 years of work experience. I can change job and get EB2 started. But will it help? Because going to new job and going through labor might take a year or more.
Could anyone please suggest whether I should change job at this point of time or wait for my EB3 case to approve?

Hi ,
my experience with O visa is that paperwork, presentation, previous track record of the lawyer with USCIS is critical
so in this case, absorbing the 5000 cost difference may be a good idea
Of course you can always ask your employer if they are willing to take that hit but as you know you have a 50 % chance there at the best
So decision is yours

I'm looking for university professor/asst professor/lecturer job whereby university can sponsor h1b.If anybody can point me to universities which sponsor h1b in/near bay area ,it would be great. the local community colleges does not seem to sponsor h1b.

I am curious; what is your qualification? Folks who have a serious shot at a faculty position normally do not bother about asking questions about H1-B; that's the least of the hurdles of getting a faculty position.

Ok, you know I love your pictures, so I played with curves and masking. Since I've been on the coast many times, I know those cliffs have a lot more detail than your photo, so I wanted to bring them out. I went for subtlety and not intensity in the color version. I don't know if it looked like this or not, but this is what I imagine it to be. Layering and adjusting curves can significantly change the "feel" of the picture to more closely emulate what you saw.
Also, I really like the BW version for dramatic feel. Michael Michael Michael.... you do such nice work... there's always a jewel in the center with a bit of tweakin... that's what I love about your work! Many possibilities with one pic! :)

Once you give out your EAD for employment your H1 status goes in limbo. I think the way to go back on H1b status is to exit the country and reenter with H1 visa and then work only for the employer who sponsored the H1b (in case something terrible happens to your AOS).
But again this is just my analysis; and I am not a lawyer.

thanks for the answers! To clarify, yes I do have my notice. It's for a different location and time though. I've moved and just don't want to travel that far.
So if I just bring my notice and passport (and finger) to the Boston office, they'll let me do the fingerprint? Is it possible to be denied for these walk-ins? Boston isn't too busy on Friday mornings/afternoons, is it?

Keep on calling SSN office and ask the status. After 1month ask them to expedite the request. It may take morethan 6months also as the systems are not in sync and ssn has to get confirmation from uscis.

what i mean is i am currently working full time with Company A. But I am thinking of making additional income by working for another company on part time basis. Can I file another concurrent H1? And if this concurrent H1 will be based on annual H1 quota?
