I understand AP is like your visa stamp. I94 shows your status and not a visa stamp.
As a known fact,You may show to IO at port of entry only when it is valid and not expired.
You may also apply for an extension only when you wish to travel out and want to come in using AP.

This is an easy one. I am sorry but i am blank on this.
Can you please let me know how do i get a soft copy of the passport size photograph? I used to get the hard copy from Sam's but now we need to softcopy to upload for visa purposes (D160).

The Original Post said he was contracting for Federal Govt. It is possible to contract with most Depts on H-b, EAD , GC regardless of your immigration status.
It is not true, that it is not possible to work in Fed Govt on H1 or EAD. Hundreds of contractors work for the Federal govt in DC area who are on H1-Bs.

Because you never know, when the new fiscal year begin on Oct 08 for the USCIS the EB2 dates may go back to Mid 2003 and it will not quickly move forward until July or Aug of 09.

It looks to me like they made a mistake on the valid dates for the new EAD. That happened to me last year, I received my new EAD card and it was only good for 1.5 months.
I had to mail them the card and after a couple of calls and some headaches they sent me a new EAD card, this time valid for 2 years.

It would be of great help if any one on this forum or their aquaintaince could assist my aged parents travelling from Hyderabad,India to Atlanta,GA by British Airways on 10-27-09.

You can check with the airlines and ask for wheelchair for you aged parents ... usually I have seen with Lufthansa - they provide a very good service when you ask for special assistance. Not sure what BA will do though ... you can always try ....

So, I guess, although I don't have the plastic card in hand, I can start processing AC21 on the basis of EAD approval notice and A#, that gives me 90 more days.
I will read I 9 more carefully with time. Also started upgrading profile.
